Silly Saturday Facts Collection No. 2

Hello everybody and welcome back to another installment of Nations Made Fun! I'll be your host, Mr. Nations, your tour guide to the world! Today we will be doing our second collection of silly facts for Silly Saturday. Let's get right into it!
  • During Lichenstein's last military engagement in 1886, none of the eighty soldiers were injured or killed and they returned with eighty-one, making "a new Italian friend" along the way.
  • During the opium war, the Chinese set monkeys on fire and launched them at British ships in an attempt to cause chaos.
  • Between the announcement of Germany's surrender during World War II on the radio to Joseph Stalin addressing of the nation twenty-two hours later, Russia literally ran out of vodka.
