- U.S. President Jimmy Carter was once attacked by a giant swimming rabbit in 1979.
- During World War II, Russians trained dogs rigged with explosions to run under enemy tanks and blow them up. Since they used Russian tanks for their training, the dogs would often run under their tanks and explode them.
- In 1976, the USA launched Operation Paul Bunyan to cut down a tree located in the Korean Demilitarized Zone because it was blocking the view of an area. They sent in tanks, Special Forces, various other vehicles, Tae Kwon Do experts, soldiers with M16s, grenade launchers. mines, artillery, helicopters, etc. all to cut down a tree.
