     Fun Facts:

• The first powered flight, achieved by Orville and Wilbur Wright, occurred in Kittyhawk, North Carolina. The flight only covered 120 feet and lasted twelve seconds.
• North Carolina is the largest producer of sweet potatoes.
• Krispy Kreme Doughnut was founded in North Carolina.
