• Before Abraham Lincoln's presidency, he was actually an elite fighter, winning all but one of his three hundred some contests.
• Zachary Taylor is believed to have overdosed on cherries. He was diagnosed with gastroenteritis. The acidic cherries added with the milk he drank is believed to have caused this.
• Andrew Jackson once had a very vulgar parrot. He taught the parrot to swear and had to be removed from the funeral service for swearing too often.
