Silly Saturday Facts Collection No. 34 Virus Facts (100th Fact Special!)

Hello everybody and welcome back to another edition of Nations Made Fun! I'll be your host, Mr. Nations, your tour guide to the massive world we all call home! Today, we'll be celebrating our 100th fun facts. To commemorate this milestone, we'll be looking at 3...

    Virus Facts!

Well, what are we waiting for? Let's dive straight into it!
  • Viruses are not classified under any of the five kingdoms of living things. That means they aren't bacteria, fungi, protists, plants, or animals.
  • There is little a scientist can do to cure or stop viruses. There are vaccinations that build up immunity, but the best thing you can do is let your body fight off viruses.
  • Most viruses are so small that they cannot be seen by a typical microscope.
     The controversy surrounding Coronavirus. (COVID-19)

The best way we can defend against Coronavirus is to isolate ourselves and wash hands thoroughly. While this should be common knowledge, the virus mostly affects elders, BUT, youth can still carry the virus and spread it to the elderly.

On a more personal level, panic-buying needs to stop. My family is having trouble getting basic food products from supermarkets simply because people are buying them at an alarming rate, clearing shelves. Bread, milk, bottled water, and toilet paper are gone. Panic-buying is a stupid practice that has to stop. While I understand that people are frightened, there is no need to buy 400 rolls of toilet paper. Thank you.
