Silly Saturday Facts Collections No. 35

Hello everybody and welcome back to another edition of Nations Made Fun! I'll be your host, Mr. Nations, your tour guide to this massive world we all call home! Today on Silly Saturday, we'll be taking a look at another three facts. Well, what are we waiting for? Let's dive straight into it, shall we?

  • John James Audubon's paintings of birds are painted with such incredible detail and beautiful colors that many people tend to overlook the fact that he killed his subjects so they wouldn't fly away.
  • In the UK in the 17th century, women who were viewed as having spoken out of turn or said something inappropriate were forced to wear a muzzle that locked around the head.
  • Pilgrims never wore buckles on their heads.
