Christmas Countdown - 9 Days

Hello everybody and welcome back to another edition of Global History Hub! I'll be your host, Mr. Nations, your tour guide to this massive world we all call home! There are a mere nine days until Christmas, and I thought I'd celebrate by showing nine beautiful Christmas trees from all around the world. While this isn't technically a history-oriented post, I think these Christmas trees are truly beautiful. Alright, let's see the pictures!

This gorgeous tree can be found in Maui, Hawaii. While it doesn't look like a great Christmas tree, it certainly does when lights are strung upon it. The tree is decorated with 6,500 colored lights, beginning December 1st.
While it might not be a real tree, this one in Rio De Janeiro sure lights up the city skyline with its beautiful lights and designs that shine bright at night.
Venice, Italy is another example artificial Christmas tree, but that by no means makes it ugly. This spectacular tree is made completely of stained glass, so the light bounces off it in a brilliant fashion.
This grand old Christmas tree comes straight from Asheville. North Carolina. It's absolutely covered in lights, ornaments, strings, and streamers. It has a quaint old fashioned charm that's hard to beat.
Another beautiful entry to the list is the glorious tree located at the Rockefeller Center in New York City. The tree topper is a radiant nine-foot wide Swarovksi star, weighing 900 lbs. and featuring a healthy seventy spikes covered with crystals.
This regal Christmas tree located in the fabulous city of London is another strong entry to the list. The surrounding decorations and heavily decorated branches make it a fantastic tree to all.
This is another example of an artificial tree done right, and this tree was done right by the Lithuanians. This tree located in Vilnius, Lithuania is another dazzling tree that shines bright in the night.
Paris has outdone itself with this beautiful tree. The symmetry of the lights and the placement of the spiky star at the top of the tree make it a sight to behold. Truly a great tree, and it fits in perfectly with its surroundings.
This tree isn't a tree at all! Instead, the city of Umbria, Italy decided to lay down lights in the shape of a tree on the side of a mountain. Way to make the most out of your surroundings, Umbria!
