  • Bird: Eastern Brown Pelican
     Fun Facts:
  • Louisiana is named after King Louis XIV.
  • Louisiana State Capitol Building is the tallest state capital in the United States.
  • Hurricane Katrina was centered in Louisiana and was the deadliest hurricane to strike the United States.
