Summer States No. 30 - Wisconsin

  • Size: 65,496 square miles

  • Bird: Robin
     Fun Facts:
  • In 1871, the Peshtigo Fire ravaged Wisconsin, destroying 2 billion trees and killing 1,200 people. It is the most destructive fire in the United States.
  • In 2011, Wisconsin cows produced over three billion gallons of milk.
  • The typewriter was invented in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
