- In 585 B.C.E., there was a solar eclipse that terrified the Medians and the Lydians so much that they forgot about the vicious battle and fled the battlefield in fear.
This one is a little bit sillier, but I thought it would be fun to include it.
- In 1799 a young boy found a rock and his family used it for a doorstop for three years. Turns out it was actually solid gold and they just hadn’t noticed.
