Silly Saturday Fun Facts Collection No. 32

Hello everybody and welcome back to another edition of Nations Made Fun! I'll be your host, Mr. Nations, your tour guide to this massive world we all call home! Today on Silly Saturday, we'll be taking a look at another three fun facts. Well, what are we waiting for? Let's dive straight into it!

  • The Roman Catholics formed a secret society called the Order of the Pug. New members had to wear dog collars and scratch at the door to get in.
  • Potatoes were only introduced to Ireland in the late 1500s by Spanish conquistadors.
  • Thomas Edison once electrocuted a circus elephant to death. Over a thousand people came to watch her die while Edison recorded it.
