  • Bird: Cardinal
     Fun Facts:
  • The Great Chicago Fire happened in Illinois and was one of the largest fires to burn in the U.S. and burnt over nine square kilometers of Chicago.
  • The Willis Tower, formerly known as the Sears Tower, is the largest building in North America.
  • The world's first skyscraper was built in Chicago.
